Create PDF to save or print

Whilst you can see the accounts preview on screen, there may be times when a PDF is preferred. This would give you an offline copy for when you might not have access to the internet, or if you want to print a copy.

To create a PDF file

Sole Traders Accounts Preview > Export to PDF > choose with or without draftmark.
Limited Companies Accounts Preview > Generate Set of Accounts > PDF > choose with or without draftmark.

The set of accounts is optimised for PDF and looks different to how it appears on the Accounts Preview tab.

Once you’ve produced a PDF file, you may want to save it to your device or computer. You might want to do this to transfer to a different device for reading, or for filing, or in case you anticipate not having access to the internet when you need this file.

  • 1. Upon clicking the PDF option, the set of accounts should open in a new tab in your browser.
  • 2. Look for a Save option. This may be on a File menu, or it may be represented by a Save icon.
  • 3. Choose a location to save the file.
