Bank interest and charges

If you incur charges or receive interest from your bank, you can record this in Sage One. You can use this to ensure that your bank history is correct.

To enter bank interest and charges

  • 1. Banking > click the bank account that you want to use > Interest/Charges.
  • 2. Complete the following information:
Bank Charge Enter the amount and date of any bank charges.
Interest Charge Enter the amount and date of any bank interest charges.
Interest Earned Enter the amount and date of any bank interest that you receive.
  • 3. Click Save.

You’ve now recorded the bank charge or interest against your Sage One Cashbook bank account. When you check your transactions against your bank statement, these transactions are automatically selected.
