Efiling to Companies House

If this is the first time you’ve filed online using Sage Final Accounts, you’ll need to enter the following information:

Presenter ID

You’ll need a presenter identifier and presenter authentication code if you intend to file accounts to Companies House through third-party software. Both are 11 digit alphanumeric codes, with the presenter ID starting and ending with 000. There are 3 different types of presenter accounts available from Companies House:

  • If you intend to file using third-party software.
  • You wish to file online and pay filing fees by credit account rather than by credit or debit card.
  • You’re an agent or lender wishing to file charge documents electronically (via software or Companies House online filing) for companies other than your own.

Apply for a presenter ID and presenter authentication code

Presenter authentication code This will have been provided by Companies House when you applied to be a user of the electronic filing service.
Registered email address The email address you used to set up your electronic filing service account with Companies House.
Company authentication code Before you can file on your client’s behalf, you’ll need their unique company authentication code provided by Companies House.Your client can either apply directly to Companies House, or you can request a code be sent to the client’s registered office on their behalf by visitingCompanies House website
