Enter and manage partners

You add, delete, and manage partners through the Data page.

Learn about partners’ capital and current accounts.

To add a partner

  1. Click Data.
  2. From the table of contents click Partners and Professional Advisers.
  3. Enter the main details of the partner.
  4. Choose how the partner’s name should appear in the set of accounts using the Display as option.
  5. Click Save.

To add additional partners, click the Add partner block > repeat the steps above.

You can add five partners.

To add a partner’s appointment or resignation date

  1. Click Data.
  2. From the table of contents click Partners and Professional Advisers.
  3. Find the partner whose dates you want to change
  4. Click Enter appointment/resignation dates
  5. Enter the dates and if you’ve entered a resignation date, enter the reason for resignation.
  6. Click Save.

To remove a partner

You need a minimum of two partners so you can only remove partners when you have three or more.

  1. Click Data.
  2. From the table of contents click Partners and Professional Advisers.
  3. Find the partner to remove.
  4. Click Remove on the block for that item.
